Drykilns for Candy

In the candy industry it is important that the humidity is constant and low. Also the temperature should not be too high. We specially adjust our drying techniques to this.

This to:

  • optimize the production time
  • obtain an uniform process time throughout the year
  • to deliver the highest possible product quality.

The system to treat the air is an adsorption dryer combined with pre- and/or post cooling and/or heating. The outside air is filtered and pre-cooled. This already reduces the moisture that has to be removed by the adsorption dryer.

Especially during the summer the low dew points are reached. After the dehumidification process the air is cooled or heated to regulate the requested temperature in the process.

The applied drying techniques are: product drying, process conditioning and room conditioning. We dry conventionally and with adsorption, or a combination of these.
